Blog EntryChinese version VS Japanese versionAug 18, '07 2:11 PM
for everyone
I started collecting Hello! Project and Morning Musume original stuff just about a year ago and have been buying some of it through YesAsia.com. I must say that original Japanese stuff are very expensive compared to those original Korean and Chinese stuffs. And just only recently that yes asia has released a Chinese/HK version of Morning Musume and Hello! Project stuff... probably because an official Hello! Project Chinese site was recently set up, not to mention that Morning Musume recently had 2 new members from China.

At first I was hesitant to buy the chinese version thinking that it might lack something that's in the japanese version. But later on, I found out that it's exactly the same as the japanese version, content wise. And to top it off, it's cheaper than the japanese version! Also, one can't help to think whether it's authentic or just imitation... but knowing YesAsia, they probably won't sell imitations and upon opening the product, it says that it is actually authorized by their japanese counterparts. So it got me into thinking that from now on, if I am to buy their videos, singles or albums, I'd probably buy the chinese version instead.

Photobooks, on the other hand, has no chinese version, so I have no choice but to buy the japanese one.

Blog EntryHappy Day!Aug 3, '07 10:25 PM
for everyone
I'm so happy right now. Yesterday, the package that I ordered from YesAsia came -- Morning Musume Concert Tour 2007 Haru Sexy 8 Beat and Eizo The Morning Musume 4 - Single M Clips. I didn't know at first that it arrived that day coz my mom forgot to mention it to me. I just found out when I was sleeping, and my dad woke me up and gave me the package. I feel like a kid on Christmas eve receiving a present from Santa. but I was so sleepy last night that I had to open the package and look at it this morning before going to work. And I must say that it totally made my day (even if it was gloomy and raining outside).

Express delivery can be really fast. I just ordered the package last Aug 01 and got it Aug 03. The other package that I ordered last July 06 hasn't arrived yet and that's because I used the Standard delivery service. The only problem with express delivery is that you'll have to pay an additional fee just for the shipping. While the standard doesn't have any additional payment to it. I'm using standard mostly just because of that. I only use express if I really want my order that badly.

Blog EntryA Shout Out To Pinoy Momusu Fans!Aug 2, '07 8:52 AM
for everyone
At the moment, I don't really know any Morning Musume fans from the Philippines (except for Hera-san who was acknowledged by Morning Musume on NHK... Lucky Girl!). Well, this goes as a shout out to Morning Musume fans in the Philippines. I know there are probably alot of us out there. Please reply back if you're one of them.

I have this My Multiply account for atleast about a year or so and haven't really thought of what to put in it. I have this thinking that it's just another Friendster (alot of which has been popping out lately). Well, to put it to good use, I thought about making it some sort of a fansite for my favorite J-Pop girl group, Morning Musume.

I've been a fan of Morning Musume since 2005. My first encounter with the group was while playing this fantastic game on my Nintendo DS called Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan! The game is about a group of male cheerleaders helping people by boosting their moral by means of cheerleading. It's accompanied by a selection of J-Pop songs. One of the songs was Koi No Dance Site, a song by Morning Musume. And then the rest is history.
